Talon's Ark - Chapter 1 : Talon's Family

There was a time with the Earth was still young and full of life, from the tallest tree on the highest mountain to the smallest insect living beneath the sands.  The land was dominated by hundreds of people, who did as they pleased without regards for each other.  Those that were strong would often mistreat those that were weak by comparison.   They would steal from and relentlessly harm each other without even the slightest remorse.

The wickedness of mankind grew more and more with each passing day until corruption and violence was everywhere.  The almighty God was very sad and angred to see that his people had forgotten him in their hearts, and thus decided it was time to put an end to it all.  Humanity had condemned itself to extinction.  Only one family in all the land remained virtuous and continued to follow the Lord’s way.

In an secluded area far away from the city, a farmer named Talon Noah lived with his wife, Article" Emzara, their three sons, Benny Shem, Thundara Ham and Atticus Japheth, and their wives, Sunlight Sedeqetelebab, Turtle Na’elatama’u and Rarity ‘Adataneses.  Talon was a righteous mutate who kept the word of God in his heart every day.  He had also helped spread to the word of God among his family.  They had little money and owned only the land that Leo’s father had left for him, but they were very happy.

Because of his belief in God and Rarity's incredible gift to control ice and snow, Talon was ridiculed by the people of the city and accused Rarity of Being a monster and banned him and Elsa from entering the city, so his wife and his eldest son Kristoff and the family pet Sven the reindeer would journey to the city whenever they had extra food to sell in exchange for lumber.  The rest of his family including Olaf a living snowman created by Rarity's Magic with his own personal flurry would assist him in caring for the farm animals as well as the farm crops.

One evening, after a long hard day on the farm, Talon, Sven and his sons were returning home to the sweet scent of Article’s cooking.

“Hmm, unless my nose deceives me, I believe we are having your mother’s stew tonight,” said Talon.

“Come on guys!  Let’s race for first dibs,” Benny shouted as he, Thundara and Article rush off to the house.

Talon just chuckled, and soon he and Sven arrived at the house.
“Hello, Leo dear,” Article said as she greeted them.

“Hello, father,” said Sunlight, Turtle and Rarity, who had come out to greet their father and their husbands.

“Hello, my dear Article,” Talon said.  He kisses his wife.  “The boys and I followed the aroma of your famous home-cooked stew.

“I know it’s your favorite,” Article replied.

“Yes by the way, have you seen the boys?  I saw them rush to the house.”

“Mother asked them to bring in the goat before they get washed up for dinner,” Rarity replied.
“Annie got out by herself again?”

“I’m afraid so,” said Turtle.

"That goat can be a right pain at times, or not" said Olaf.

"You better go and help them Olaf" Talon said as the snowman went around to the back of the house.

Outside at the back of the house, Benny, Thundara and Atticus are trying to grab Annie, a particularly stubborn goat that had broken through the wooden fence of her pen.

“Come here, Annie,” said Benny as he and Thundara were keeping the goat distracted.  “Come on girl…it’s okay.”

“I got her,” Olaf said as he jumped onto Annie’s back.  “I got her!!!”
Surprised the goat started bucking like a horse.

“Hold on tight to her, Olaf,” said Thundara.
“Whoa!" Whoa!  HELP!!!”

“After them!” Benny shouted!

Benny, Thundara and Atticus took off after the goat as she all over the backyard with Olaf on her back.  Talon and the ladies laughed as they watched the scene of comedy occurring before them.

“I don’t know who’s more stubborn, the goat or the boys,” said Anna as she giggled.
“Either way, this should be very interesting,” Talon chuckled.

After so much tripping and running around, Thundara managed to intercept Annie and catches her in his massive arms. The goat’s sudden stop flung Olaf off and head first right into a muddy puddle.

“Are you okay, Olaf?” asked Rarity, who couldn't keep from laughing.

“No problem,” Olaf replied, managing a convincing smile.

“Well done, boys,” said Talon.  “Now let’s put Annie back in her stable, and then let’s all get washed up for dinner.”

“Okay father,” Benny, Thundara and Atticus said.

After Annie was safely placed in her stable and everyone was washed up, the family went into the house and sat down to a hearty dinner and gave Sven some in a special bowl he has.  Before eating, everyone at the table bowed their heads and thanked the Lord for bringing them together, for showing them the way and for rewarding them for all of their hard work with a wonderfully cooked meal.  Then they proceeded to feast but then they hear some sort of noise outside.

"That's odd it sounds like we have company" Talon said as he got up and looked out the window and to his surprise he saw a group of animals a green gecko with dark green hair, a blue banded mongoose, an orange hedgehog, a dark blue and white panda, a grey skunk, a pink spider monkey and a purple dog wearing a black beret.

"Well hello there" Talon said kindly to them, "you must be hungry Article, Anna will you two take out seven little bowls and fill them with some of the stew i think our guests must be hungry. Talon said as he went to open the door and the seven animals came in and sat down near Sven who was happy to share his feeding place "no matter what size they are all of God's creatures are important Talon said as he, Article and Anna placed seven bowls down for each of the animals. "there you go enjoy, nothing like a good meal" Leo said as Sven and the animals tacked into their dinner.

"You truly are a good man Talon" Article said as Talon smiled as he and aurora sat down with the rest of the family to eat.

God was very pleased with Talon Noah and his family, and found favor of them in his eyes.  Little did Talon know that God would soon speak with him, and the event would save his life, the life of his family and the lives of many animals that lived on the Earth.
